Red Velvet

I think red velvet cupcakes are so pretty! I was invited to a picnic yesterday so of course I had to whip up something.  I'm always looking for the best recipe so I decided to try out a new red velvet recipe.  The cupcakes were good but I think the old recipe is better.  I guess it's best to stick with what you know!

    Wow, your red velvet cupcakes are really red! When I tried making them, I couldn't get a nice color to it. Do you use special food coloring?

    They look really yummy!

    I don't use a special food coloring, but I do use a lot! The recipe I use calls for 3 tablespoons of liquid food coloring so it gets a nice red color.
